Stephen W. Perkins is a proud brother to five siblings. Stephen now calls the great state of Oklahoma his home where he lives with his wife Beth, son SJ, and rescue dog Hurley who are inspirations in everything he does.
Stephen began writing at the age of six – dolling out comical versions of The Hardy Boys, which he lovingly dubbed The Perkins Boys. At the age of seventeen Stephen began his journey to discover the art and craft behind writing adult fiction, and continues that journey today. He has written and directed two award-winning short films “Stationery Games” and “Ain’t Over ’til it’s Over.”
His early works focused primarily on short fiction, and has published six short stories over the years primarily in the genre of horror and the supernatural. His influences in short fiction are Dean Koontz and Stephen King.
Stephen continues to write short fiction but has engaged his primary focus toward novel writing, and his hard at work on his first thriller. He reads the likes of James Patterson, John Sanford and James Rollins to name a few.
